We need the people with zero knowledge about crypto from web 2

I've been writing on Hive for some time now and I can say I've earned some x amount of dollars in return thanks to my friends, followers, and the Hive community as a whole.

But when it comes to content on Hive and on other platforms, it's a different things. And same goes for the earnings aspect as ive been spending some time on web2 apps like youtube and tiktok as of recent to know more about the monetization apect of things.

Lately I've been thinking about monetizing TikTok which i never really got to think about before.

Early this year, my eyes were on YouTube, but after some research and advice from friends online and offline I realized that YouTube is not that easy to get into and increase the numbers of followers and views due to how small the active users are compared to platforms like TikTok whwre you can easily garner a thousand followers without breaking a bone.

Web2 has the numbers and content

The reason why i don't get to see much people talking about web3 often on web2 is something that has been bugging me for a while now and I feel I can make it happen and be the change if no one else wants to.

We can talk about promotion, contests and incentives all day in making people promote web3 pn web2 but the fact still remains that we need that one big break.

Not just any break but one that would entails a web2 celebrity to be one of the core member of a web3 playforms like Hive. Imagine if khal was able to gain a million followers on tiktok with creating content on there. It doesn't has to be all about Hive but rather a way to make it easy for people to join Hive.

That would be really cool and a game changer....

But because no whale or any prominent member here on Hive has the time and energy to start going to web 2 to preach to them about web3 platforms we just keep talking to ourselves all day without showing the world what we have to offer.

I know people are on X trying to build and connect with other crypto degens but if we are being honest, many people on X are just people who already have their own core blockchain and are just looking for more platforms, projects and tokens to check out in order to make more cool cash.

Crypto is X and X is crypto

Either you agree with me or not is not my problem but the fact still remains that the average real users who are not exposed to crypto and needs to are not that much on X unlike tiktok that is filled with the average joes who needs to be enlighten about crypto and banking the unbanked.

I'll take my mom and many other family members around me as an example. My mom, dad, and friends living in the same neighborhood all have TikTok and they all watch at least 20–100 videos per day.

There's even now a feature that presently allows you to upload longer videos that can make you stick to a particular show and series of videos now. How i know this is that presently, there's a series that mom watches every day and she's hooked with it just for the content.

None of them have heard about X before if I am being honest, but if people like this can hear about other platforms on TikTok then they would definitely want to give it a try. And when you hit them with the you can earn from your content thats where everything gets juicy.

Promising rewards is not a bad thing as many people as painted it to be because even if many got in for the rewards some would later stay for the tech.

However all of this are just assumptions as nothing ive said has been experimented nor put into action yet. But soon enough ill make sure i do.
