Unceremonious

There has been a lot of talk about New Year's and all its vigour, energy and emotional surge. Amidst all these are men with dreams, men with morals and men with wife and wives to feed. Honestly, if you as a man can't cater for your family up to average you seriously don't deserve to ball anything out this Christmas.

To put my mind straight Christmas shouldn't be the only time where we all have to act like we care about one another. People purely plan days like these ahead of time, like who lives just two weeks from all the 56 weeks in a year if im not mistaken.

Well, you couldn’t be any mad too if you saw what just happened in the next apartment. I won't be the one who blows this whistle so I'd like you to imagine being a man only to your family members on Christmas and New Year's Day, after that, it's fnck you wifey.

Sometimes I feel like young men these days get into relationships without even knowing what it is and before you know it they are already becoming fathers. Honestly, there are times when I so think maybe giving birth late was a bad thing due to how far-fetched I am as a first son to my dad but regardless he’s always been there when you needed him. These days I see new dads who are my age and i wonder what coudve happened to want to father a child so quickly when you are still one.

But then I think on another end the faults also comes from too much pressure placed on male children (especially the first ones) by their parents to bring home a wife and provide them with grandkids. This is something the mothers usually do around here and I've seen it with my friends. Luckily I dont get this type of treatment due to my secretive behavior these days. If you dont know me before you think im still a virgin.

in short, we can do better as humans in providing for our family and showing genuine love to them even when we are not celebrating anything. I prefer you love your family the whole year except the festive days than the other way round. But I guess we all have a way of seeing these things these days its like im way behind when ut comes to the matters of the heart so take everything i say with a grain of salt.
