Gather Here Let's Gossip

If you click because you want to hear some gossip, then you're one of those people I'm about to.. uhm...give a friendly advice. Lol πŸ˜‚

Around my shop there are other shops and in those shops there are women who usually like to go gather in either one of those shops to gossips about all sorts of debate, rumours, events and happenings.

It could be about sex, men, money, politics and on and on, but today it was celebrities. Kinda pointless to talk about people youve never even met before in my own open onion.

On a normal day, I don't pay a bit of attention to whatever it is they are talking about, but today there was a power outage and my phone is very low, plus my airpod is out of power. I'm even typing this post with just 2 percent.

And yes, I made a screenshot of it due to how frustrated i am.

Whenever my phone is not with enough battery I don't like to on my data because that would drain my battery faster, if not, I would be on Hive reading posts and commenting on the ones that interest me. However, today the power is out and while I was trying to force myself to sleep these women and their gossips won't let me because it's like I'm right there.

Oops! The light is back.

Back to the main topic. Nowadays, many people are so busy with gossips that they get to the point where they don't know what to gossip about again, so they just keep on talking about irrelevant stuff when they should've used such time to work on something productive or talk about something that can be of benefit to both parties.

Another issue that kind of caught my attention apart from the celebrity stuff was when they were talking about the government and how shitty they are now that they voted them in power. TBH, the government is cruel in some ways to their citizens, but then what do we as citizens also do for our communities if all we do all day is to gossip about people's flaws while we ourselves have nothing of value to offer the world.

There's a quite about change that says the only way to change the world is for the change to start from you. Be the change you want to see in the world, and eventually, people will follow suit. However, that's never the case with people these days as we are too caught up on trends and pointless things that the mainstream media keeps feeding us online.

But what do I know...I'm just ranting about this shit when ive also not done that much. Nevertheless i believe i'm always trying to figure out a way to be of benefit to myself, my community and everyone around me. It might be tough, but I'm going to make it happen eventually. Nothing is rewarding to your soul like making a positive impact on the world before your last heart beat.

Thanks for reading my rants

See you in my next post

Very frustrating to deal with gossip, especially when you're trying to conserve phone battery during a power outage. Hehehe It's true bro, focusing on productive things can be more fulfilling than endlessly chatting about celebrities or politics.

Exactly my point. Focusing on productive activities are much more rewarding to us and our community. That's the only way to take charge of your life. Blaming others for it is giving away your power.
