Driving is fun but....

I love driving since childhood that I learned to drive a bike when I was just 12, but recently I've not been that fascinated with it as much as I was back then.

When it comes to driving, there's a lot to be excited about...from the air rushing through your hair on a bike, peddling the car while listening to your favorite audiobook, to the joy of reaching places faster. All of these are what fascinates me about driving while I was very young.

Back then, everything about driving a bike is nothing but an elated feeling that last longer than eating candies and choking on chocolate like other kids.

However there are also dangers that comes with driving that people seems to forget before they start driving. They are also what I which I knew before driving.

Driving is Fun

But you shouldn't drive for fun

When I was learning to drive back then I was very eager and ready to hop on the bike and drive from one junction to another just to feel the wind, smell the air and soak in the moment so I can do it again. But little did I know that what seems fun is also very dangerous.

One day I decided to take a step further to move past just driving around the neighborhood to become a real driver who drives on the main road. I have no traffic rules nor did I try to know them, all I was thinking about was just doing it for the thrill.

In short, I saw a man navigate a yellow light for a turn while I was also trying to stop and turn back. He made a turn and I somehow managed to crash from behind him. It wasn't that serious but I thought about that incident in comparison with another event that happened recently where a young boy who was driving a bike got I to a fatal accident on the main road when he knows he's not yet fit for the main road.

Luckily the boy is alive but I fear he might not be able to walk with his two legs anymore as one was broken due to the accident.

Personally driving is fun but you can't drive for fun else you'll hurt yourself or land yourself in a worse case scenario.
