Music Zone is a community created on the Hive Blockchain to contribute to musical talent, offer opportunities for growth, and promote music education for content creators. It provides tools and spaces that allow artists to develop, share their art, and connect with a global audience.
We present this report as part of our commitment to transparency and accountability to our sponsors and the community at large. We want to strengthen confidence in this project, which, for more than three years, has evolved thanks to joint effort and a passion for music. This document reflects our journey, achievements, and next steps, reaffirming that Music Zone is a space where creativity and collaboration are the foundation of everything.

What is the objective of Music Zone and what are the pillars that define its identity within Hive?
From the outset, we have focused on encouraging musicians to develop their talent through comprehensive artistic training that strengthens their confidence and allows them to pursue their musical careers with their own identity, both inside and outside Hive. Therefore, our various activities are focused on that goal:
Hive Music Festival: Promotes the training of musicians week after week.
Hive Music Artist: Encourages good performances to serve as models and inspire others.
Magazine Zone: It provides tools for artistic development, both in the field of music and performance; material, advice and suggestions to improve your musical and audiovisual products.
The Hive Music Festival on the Street: It's a unique opportunity to celebrate music and culture. With great enthusiasm and planning, we have been able to organize a single event outside the digital environment of Hive, a fun and memorable festival for all attendees. One of the goals is to promote the name of Hive and our artists, who day after day put their hearts into their performances in the various contests that exist on our beloved Blockchain. Promoting our artists and the ecosystem is one of our goals so that Hive gets the recognition it deserves from the world.
Song Challenge: A space for the most daring artists, those who are committed to their own musical identity. For this reason, the prize is the release of a music track, with high-quality musical and audiovisual production. We have also extended our efforts to bring the winners to Spotify and other streaming platforms to promote their talent.
Music Zone has been well received by the large Hive community. The number of people who trust this prestigious music community continues to grow, and this number has been significant for a young community. We continue to work to promote the community and all its activities so that subscriptions continue to grow.

Desde el principio, nos hemos centrado en animar a los músicos a desarrollar su talento a través de una formación artística integral, que fortalezca su confianza y les permite seguir su carrera musical con identidad propia; tanto dentro como fuera de Hive. Por lo tanto, nuestras diversas actividades están enfocadas con ese objetivo:

Hive Music Festival en la Calle: Es una oportunidad única para celebrar la música y la cultura. Con gran entusiasmo y planificación, hemos logrado organizar un evento fuera del entorno digital de Hive, un festival divertido e inolvidable para todos los asistentes. Uno de los objetivos es promover el nombre de Hive y de nuestros artistas, quienes día tras día ponen su corazón en sus presentaciones en los distintos concursos que existen en nuestra querida Blockchain. Promover a nuestros artistas y el ecosistema es uno de nuestros objetivos para que Hive obtenga el reconocimiento que merece del mundo.
Song Challenge: Un espacio para los artistas más atrevidos, aquellos que están comprometidos con su propia identidad musical. Por esta razón, el premio es la publicación de una canción, con una producción musical y audiovisual de alta calidad. También hemos extendido nuestros esfuerzos para llevar a los ganadores a Spotify y otras plataformas de streaming para promover su talento.
Music Zone ha sido bien recibido por la gran comunidad de Hive. El crecimiento de quienes confían en esta prestigiosa comunidad musical sigue en aumento, y este número ha sido significativo para una comunidad joven. Continuamos trabajando para promover la comunidad y todas sus actividades, de modo que las suscripciones sigan creciendo.
The reach we have achieved has been thanks to the collaboration of many who have believed in this community by giving Music Zone their vote of confidence and delegating part of their Hive Power, for which we are extremely grateful to all of them. From the outset, the Music Zone team has focused on growing the community's Hive Power (HP), with the aim of offering a slightly more acceptable valuation, as well as waiving individual payments for members.
In three years, Music Zone has generated an accumulation of 2,266,453 HP of organic HP and 1,846,084 HP of delegated HP, which we have reused to add value to the contributions of our artists and to the good music in general that is made throughout Hive.
In addition, it is considered that community posts do not generate sufficient liquidity to cover reasonable prizes and special events. Throughout this time, we have made a huge effort to maintain fixed income awards, even though we know that the profits within the platform are variable income. This has worn us down a bit in terms of maintaining capital distributions to our winning and featured artists.

Aunado a ello, se considera que los post de la comunidad no generan la suficiente liquidez para afrontar premios rezonables y eventos especiales. Durante todo este tiempo hemos hecho un esfuerzo gigante por sostener premiaciones de Renta Fija; aun sabiendo que las ganancias dentro de la plataforma son de Renta Variable. Esto nos ha desgastado un poco para mantener las reparticones de capital a nuestros artistas ganadores y destacados.

Publicaciones
Music Zone has three regular weekly publications: Cycle Announcement for the Hive Music Festival, Hive Music Artist, and Magazine Zone. Currently, we are working on publications related to the Song Challenge, an activity that takes place once a year and lasts for two to three months.
In the Magazine Zone section, users can find and read articles, reviews, interviews, and other content related to music and blockchains. Our goal is to provide resources and tools to musicians and content creators to improve their performance and achieve a growth mindset in social, emotional, and creative aspects. We have had great audience reception and hope to continue innovating and generating quality content for all Hive artists.
On the other hand, we have tried to increase the number of weekly publications with a Weekly Curation Report, in order to increase the monetisation of the content and be able to offer more to the artists and improve the value of the awards; however, this publication has been difficult to sustain week after week.
Each publication represents hours of work, trial and error, and dedication. Therefore, some sponsors and nearby communities that support the project have suggested that a percentage of the monetisation of the posts be given to those responsible for sustaining the Music Zone community. We are considering this suggestion in order to reward their effort and commitment.

En la sección del Magazine Zone, los usuarios pueden encontrar y leer artículos, reseñas, entrevistas y otros contenidos relacionados con la música y la blockchains. Nuestro objetivo es brindar recursos y herramientas a los músicos, artistas creadores de contenido para mejorar su performance, alcanzar una mentalidad de crecimiento en aspectos sociales, emocionales y creativos. Hemos tenido gran receptividad de la audiencia y esperamos seguir innovando y generando contenido de calidad para todos los artistas de Hive.
Por otra parte, hemos intentado incrementar la cantidad de publicaciones semanales con un Reporte Semanal de Curación, para de esta manera incrementar la monetización del contenido y poder ofrecer más cosas a los artistas y mejorar el valor de las premiaciones; sin embargo, esta publicación ha sido compleja de sostener semana tras semana.
Cada publicación representa horas de trabajo, ensayo y dedicación; por lo que, algunos patrocinadores y comunidades cercanas que apoyan al proyecto, nos han sugerido que se otorge un porcentaje de la monetización de los post a los engargados de sostener la comunidad de Music Zone. Esta sugerencia la estamos considerando próximamente para remunerar el esfuerzo y el compromiso.

Music Zone's capital is obtained solely and exclusively from the curation of the aforementioned posts generated by the community week after week. For now, Music Zone has no external investments, nor does it have any other activities outside of Hive that generate additional income independently. Capital distribution has been focused, for now, on content creators; an incentive to continue producing high-quality content within Hive.
We currently have capital of 1,136,431 in Hive and 200,092 in HBD, which has been saved throughout the year to cover the production costs of the Song Challenge awards.

Rewards have been an effective tool for increasing the number of participants in the Hive Music Festival. They have helped create an incentive for music content creators to participate in the festival, and contribute to the growth of the community. We have stood out for being fair and transparent in the distribution of rewards and this has generated confidence in the participants of the project.

We have only been running this activity for a short time, and the response has been incredible. Hive's Music Artist of the Week is a new programme that recognises and rewards outstanding music content creators from the Hive Music Festival. This exciting new initiative has captivated and inspired audiences. The aim of the activity is to give special recognition to two additional participants each week, whom we also reward.

It should be noted that Magazine Zone has been somewhat intermittent over the last two years due to external responsibilities of the team in charge of the magazine. In addition, publications were paused for the last quarter in order to devote more time and effort to the Song Challenge. Forty per cent of the capital generated by the magazine was allocated to the two users who created and were responsible for these publications.

This activity has been designed to be held annually. To date, only two competitions have been held. We have received an excellent response from the community, so we intend to strengthen this challenge to stimulate and encourage the independent career of artists.

At the beginning of 2024, we accepted a user's proposal to include the Jamming Zone in our activities; the user in charge was only paid 30% of the post. However, a few months later, the user decided to make the activity independent and left Music Zone.

Professional Recognition

Over the past two years, by decision of the team, moderators, judges, and other staff, it was agreed to waive professional remuneration in order to allocate all profits to participants and the community. Starting in 2026, a percentage of the income from publications will be allocated as incentives, in recognition and appreciation of their valuable contribution to the success of the project.
The juries play a key role in selecting the winners of the Hive Music Festival and Song Challenge awards and competitions, ensuring that recognition is given to the most outstanding music content creators. For their part, moderators are responsible for keeping forums and channels free of spam, hate speech and inappropriate content, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for the community.
We also have the support of the Graphic Designer, who is responsible for managing the visual image of all Music Zone community publications. We also have the collaboration of a moderator.
We deeply value the efforts of all our contributors, including those who contribute by creating musical content, organising events, or supporting the community in various ways.
