Glostrulyn

Meaning: glowing nest
Type of house: crystal leaf pod
Structure: Translucent pods grown on high canopy leaves, suspended like glowing fruit.
Special Feature: Solar shimmer roofs that glow with natural light to attract mates and recharge their wings.
Inhabitant: the Nyffrin or the insect kin like beetles, dragonflies and other small winged creatures.

This is my entry to the forest folk worldbuilding drawing contest by @cabalen . The challenge is to design a house for the forest folks. My choice of creatures from the woodlands are the insects which I call the Nyffrin. The houses are small like the cocoon of a butterfly. These are made on high canopies for security and protection. The houses are translucent and the seed like structures on the roof are solar shimmers for charging the insect wings as well as attracting mates.

this one looks very neat I love how you use light and shadow to bring more focus and depth to your drawing this is definitely helping build the world of your forest folks and that name Glostrulyn is beyond imagination keep it up
