Welcome to my blog!

Studies conducted by several health experts today revealed that majority of persons globally, not fifty percent pay attention to their mental health. The world for many decades forgot about the aspect of mental health and those diagnosed of mental disorders were discriminated but this changed and many organizations have been established to support persons with mental disorders.

There are several reasons why I have resolved to always put into consideration my mental health as an individual. First of all, I can refer to the situation that had affected me personally, and I already suffered from the absence of concern for my mental health. I also experienced stress, anxiety and other related mental disorders that has implications on my health, relationship with other people and overall life.

From these roles, I realized that mental health is a vital as physical health and therefore should be cared for.Taking care of my mental health helps me to be prepared in handling stress and control my emotions, thus making me maintain a balanced life.

Furthermore, I value my mental wellbeing as I closely associate it with the process of becoming a better person and learning more about oneself. Whenever I spend my time thinking about my feelings and thoughts that I have then I can be on a better position to meet all the needs of my own.

It also directly assists me in dealing with a range of situations in life and additionally assists me in building better relationships with people I meet in my daily life.

This means that I can effectively express my self and my concerns and also know what ought to be done and what ought not to be done based on my needs.

I'll say, mental health awareness is one of the topics important for discussion and I can always discuss it since it takes a vital place in our lives. Mental health literacy plays a crucial role in decreasing discrimination, gaining treatment, and making communities tolerant of individuals with mental health disorders.

It helps the people to reduce the stigma of mental health disorders by encouraging the public to accept those who have the illness, and get help willingly without worrying that they will be discriminated against. Looking to the future, I think that demand of different mental health services will make a positive contribution to our society. With increased awareness, it will be easier to acquire support services and products for mental health treatment for individuals experiencing challenges.

This way, it will become possible to strive for the development of society that is aware of the necessity to value each of its members, their mental health and general well-being. It has the potential of lowering the incidences of mental health disorders, better quality of life for the affected persons, and a healthy and inclusive society.

However, raising the level of mental health awareness can also bring more economic benefits. With proper investment in mental health services, then the health costs of uncompensated mental health that is left unaddressed can be averted, productivity in the labor market can be optimized as well as productive and a prosperous society can be achieved.

Taking care of the mental health is a very important goal because it has a great impact not only on our individual life but also on the lives of others in out communities and society in general.
