Therefore, the emergence of artificial intelligence or AI in the contemporary world of computing and communication technology can be categorised as one of the main and revolutionary ‘disruptive’ technologies and paradigms with the ability to transform the whole range of societies.

It has a widespread in our lives and has revolutionized many sectors such as Health, finance, student learning, transport, among others. But with these advances come issues or problems regarding AI and how it will or already is affecting the general population as a whole.

In the context of social implications of AI, one of the most prominent bearings is on the employment sector. Alas, as the AI technologies are gradually improving, the potential of which may_pose_a threat of the automation and the implementation of the machine learning algorithms at the workplaces of human employees in several spheres of human life.

However, it is quite important for society, to face the opportunities given by artificial intelligence and additional job positions, challenges related to workforce displacement and train the workers for the new requirements.

However, problems of employment insecurity are not the only conflict of interest addressed here; there is also an issue of ethical dilemmas inherent with the use of AI in decisions.

AI systems are only as good as the data used to train them, and while there are cases where AI algorithms helped to amplify prejudices in society. These are critical issues of responsibility, openness, and equity in computerized decision-making, which concern hiring, identification of delinquents, medical diagnosing, and loan approval.

Nevertheless, there are many ways in which AI, at the same time, holds the potential to enhance the quality of life in society. In more general fields, AI is used to galvanise drug development, diagnostic reliability, and treatment experience in healthcare.

In education, innovative technologies led by artificial intelligence are offering the students new ways of exploring their subjects and the teachers new ways of sharing their knowledge with them. In the sphere of urban development, AI applications in traffic management, traffic flow or energy consumption optimization are employed.

All in all, the potential of AI on a society is a double-edged sword and it is up to the society to make the best of it without comprising the welfare of each and every individual. Therefore, the implementation strategies of AI technologies should involve policymakers, industrial experts, researchers, and civil society and should consider the ethical values, inventions, and equality of opportunities for all people.

This means that through collaboration in facing the challenges as well as leveraging the opportunities of AI, one can make better and more profound changes that will help to bring justice to the society and create a sustainable future.
