They say we should dream big and we have, indeed. ” Indeed, the desire for the impossible has been driving humanity every day for centuries, as people do not only set their goals to reach the stars but go beyond. It is of great importance to note that as humans, we are fully driven by curiosity and innovation, and therefore never stop discovering more every single day.

From reaching for the stars and walking on the moon to taking the steps towards the stars and probing the depths of space, the progress humanity has made is truly amazing.

And now, it looks as though human beings stand at the threshold of an entirely new phase in their journey of discovery – the discovery of other planets. But the question remains: have we really been able to explore our own planet earth before moving out to other planets and celestial bodies.

Others can point to the fact that we know little on what our own world can provide us. Oceans waiting to be discovered, forests and jungles unexplored, there is still much to find in own world we live in.

Moreover, the global population rarely knows enough about its own environment, ecosystems, and organisms that inhabit the Earth.

One cannot help but wonder how an individual can even think of exploring other worlds when the earth which we call home is under such tremendous danger of climatic change and environmental depletion.

On the other hand there are: positives that include learning about our universe and the other opportunity of other lives outside the earth. Some of the measures that are being taken as a move towards searching other planets which may have the possibility of supporting life and discovery of new galaxy and star may help us to have more understanding of our place in the universe and what we are likely to discover when it comes to space exploration.

Therefore, consideration of other planets as well can give a lot of new opportunities for investigations and discoveries. It is useful in a way that some information can be gathered while exploring other planets, their geology, and atmosphere, to be applied to new acquisitions in making life on earth even better.

Finally, space exploration is not a walk in the park, which is why people started pondering about different planets and space – it is the future of the humanity.

That is why people have to expand their vision to the Universe and look for answers to the problems that stand before us: with the constant growth of the population and eventually exhausting of resources on the Earth.

To sum up, it can be stated that the discoveries and space exploration are indeed significant for the development of the humanity and our species, respectively, but we shouldn’t lose track of the exploration of the Earth as well.

It implies that by avoiding one extreme and give attention to the other, we can achieve the best results and create a balance in order to have a better future for the generations to come. Not thinking small, but be a big dreamer and cherish and protect the place we call home.

When you find out the huge part of the ocean that we haven’t discovered, it makes it funny why people have left that part and are already roaming in space.
