Vinyls and CDs music collection 🎶

Hello dear #Hive-Collectors community. Hoping everyone is doing super well. I have been encouraged to introduce you to this collection and its history by participating in @mipiano's initiative for the month of February. This community has seemed excellent to me because in our homes we have objects that at first glance do not seem to be collections, but when we decide to consider a publication we realize that it is a very significant collection in terms of how to acquire it, from what years, and the number of copies. First of all, I will tell you about these vinyl records, I have kept them since I was young. When I formed my home, among my mother's records I took mine out and took them to my new house, when I was younger I liked rock music, I went to a fair and bought this one of the group kiss, then as the years went by my tastes changed I was inclined to Melissa, ABBA, Bee Gees, Michael Jackson, Billy Joel, Elton John. Romantic songs by Jose Luis Rodriguez, and Frank Quintero. Then for dance songs, salsa, merengues. Then with the passing of the years the vinyl ones were left behind, my mother had saved 45, 33, 72 revolutions, I am going to check if they still exist to show them to you. Then came the cds, I have several dozens, but I will show you these originals.

This is a collection of cd's of Venezuelan music. These cd's have a history. They are mine nowadays, but they originally belonged to my younger sister. I used to buy them every week with a promotion of very famous newspapers in our country, Meridiano and El Nacional. These always made these musical promotions, and the cost was affordable to our pockets, and little by little we had a large amount of original music cds and we were delighted with melodies of famous singers in our homes, enjoying them every special day at parties or on occasions that our need demanded it. While she was buying the cd collection, I was buying books and encyclopedias that the same newspapers were also releasing.

Then about two years ago these cd's were in a cardboard box and when there was a rain it got wet and termites fell on the whole area of the room. Losing a lot of important papers, she, dismayed with the situation, said to give away and throw things away, one of the objects, are these cd's, and I went to my mom's house to look for them quickly because she was desperate, that I lost a book collection because someone else beat me to it. For this reason, the collection is incomplete, but I still consider it a collection of Venezuelan music, even though some of them are missing.

This is a collection of Simón Díaz, which I bought for my daughter to listen to these melodies and learn to play the Venezuelan cuatro, my daughter was a teenager, and it seemed to us that it was the most appropriate for her learning. These told with music the life of the plains and the native animals of that region, and also considered that it supported this beautiful work of the sponsors of the CD and its exponent, our dear Simón Díaz.

The promotion in 2011, of this collection, my husband saw it in a catalog of Epa, a shopping center in the city of Barquisimeto, for the sake of my daughter, he thought to buy it, as it was a limited promotion, I always had to hurry in the acquisition. Then I told a friend who lives there in the capital city of Lara state, I made contact with him, and sent him the cost, and very kindly he bought them for me, then a few days passed, he came to visit some relatives and arrived with these Cd, to my workplace, where I had met him, a faithful friend. Then at home my daughter and all of us enjoyed these beautiful melodies, now he is a music teacher of the Venezuelan cuatro. The effort paid off.

This is a mini cd collection, at that time my children were kids, so I bought them, a magazine and a cd of music from children's movies, I only have one because the disadvantage was that they did not continue. I bought them in a bakery.

Then my daughter studied at the conservatory of Barquisimeto and in an establishment I acquired these music manuals with CDs of cuatro, guitar and keyboard by Abraham and Hugo Liscano. At that time my pocket could afford everything, in those years the salaries were balanced, every year in January there were 100% salary increases for public employees, something that was lost over the years. There are also the CDs of three great guitarists from Caracas: Alirio Díaz, Valmore Nieves and Rodrigo Riera. My daughter was participating in the first guitar contest 🎸 in the city of Carora and received these gifts. The guitarist and teacher Rafael Suarez gave her 04 teaching triptychs.

While I was passing pictures of the collection, looking for the manuals of the cd's I got others of: cuatro, guitar, keyboard, flute, mandolin, theory and solfeggio.

Well, this initiative is excellent to relive memories, and to realize how many things we acquired when we lived comfortably.
