Welcome to my blog

It always seems impossible… until it is done.

Hello, dear #Hivegarden community. Receive my greetings to all gardeners around the world. Today I am featuring a brief tour of two gardens. I was absent for the September report, I was on vacation in a mountainous region, and at that instant there was no connectivity, therefore, I missed the ninth month challenge. Today I have the opportunity to present my monthly report, making a compendium of September-October.

In the field (Falcon State, Venezuela):

In the past days between August and September, there were heavy rains and the heat subsided. Although the wind reigned every day when it began to rain, then intensely between the rain immense drops, good amount of water enough to store in the reservoirs and ponds and rivers. But the most frightening thing was the immense amount of lightning 🌩 and flashes of lightning, again and again. Each time more and more intense, it was even frightening, because this area had never suffered that amount of thunder and lightning. Some residents of the town of San Juan told me that 03 donkeys were lying in one of their streets and were struck by lightning and burned.
Then the plants were fed with enough water, where the next day I made furrows for them to get the vital liquid, they all looked beautiful and radiant.

In the city (Lara State, Venezuela):

However, in the city where my second garden was suffering from intense heat for several days in a row, the watering was so insufficient that one of my old plants had its leaves dried out. When I saw it, I wanted to cry. Then I removed all the dry leaves, made a nickname for it, and from that moment on I am watering it continuously to see if it comes back to life, I have hope, a sours op, it is sprouting.

Here you can see that the sour sop is gradually sprouting.

Since I arrived at my house in the city I cleaned the garden, cut the dry leaves, watered more often and the result is that little by little some of them have given flowers and are a little happier. And of course I am also happy that my effort and time pays off because a new flower gives me satisfaction.

When you are a gardener by passion, it hurts to see that in your garden some plants dried up because you were not there, watching every day. It hurts a lot when an adult plant of more than 15 years old has died, you get it dry, it tears my heart!

But that's life, we can't be in two places at the same time, and you don't reproach the caretaker because he is not interested in that, he still has no passion for the plants, because according to when you get old is when you dedicate your time to them, although in my case it is not like that. I have always given importance to my plants since my youth.

I was a little bit out of the mood to publish, then I receive the notification and I focused on this story. We are already in October, time is passing faster, very close to December. For me, it is better to live faster even if we get old sooner, but living in a country where life is not so pleasant, where the elementary services are collapsed, it is better that the days pass quickly, the suffering is shorter. Maybe the next one will be better, that is the hope! And hope is green, plants all or most of their leaves are green🌿, so we must be among the green color 💚 of our gardens. Isn't it wonderful, green 🍃, green 🍃… Isn't it! Tell me, am I right or not?

Well my #HiveGarden friends, have a nice day!

Losing a plant that has accompanied you for so many years is a real shame, but that is the gardener's routine. It's good that your other plants are coming back to life. Greetings @multifacetas

Hi @alborhada, you are right about the gardener's routine. The sadness passes when we have another plant, and we turn our attention to that new plant again. Thanks for your accurate comment. Regards.

The weather seems to be really unpredictable these days. It's good to see your thriving plants in your other garden. And I'm sorry to hear of the intense heat ravaging your garden in the city. But then, it's nice that there are already some sprouts in your plant. I would like to believe it's going to survive with your constant care and attention.
