Sikander (2025) Review: A Hit or A Terrible Flop?

Hello Everyone, cheap, bad, useless, worst, all these words seem small to me after watching the movie Sikander. You can understand the meaning yourself. I came back from the theatre after watching the movie, it's already been half an hour, and I'm sitting here thinking what should I say on this review. Really friend, if you have seen this Sikander movie then you will know how bad things can go in the process of making a movie. And it's not that there is only one single thing bad in the movie. Now if you point out any other place in the movie, then you will find that thing to be the worst, like the performance of the actor in the movie.

Movie Direction

Yes, we will talk about this separately. And apart from that, we will talk about the direction of the director in the movie, and that too separately. And apart from this, script writing and also cinematography, dialogue delivery, how much bad each and every thing can go, you will understand that after watching this movie. And to be honest friends, I have seen many bad movies in theatres. And when I watch some movies in theatres, I mean even if they are the worst movies, after watching them I feel that this movie cannot be watched in a serious way.

While watching this movie, I have to do some fun activities in my mind, like I start taking the serious things in the movie in a fun way. The biggest example of which is Kangva. Meaning you can say in simple words that I start enjoying myself by watching the bad things in the movie. And bad ass Ravi Kumar has made a new movie of his own in this genre. But this Salman Khan's Sikander movie is not even worthy of enjoying the bad things in the movie.

After coming home, for some time I just Twitter’s comedy, so I have to leave my brain at home. I am talking like this, and brother I am thinking that friend, because of these people’s thinking, why aliens do not come to India. Now I am getting to know. Jokes a part, a lot of people are saying that the movie is average. But to be honest, I did not find the movie average from any angle. The movie seems dirty, cheap, useless, bad, all such words to me. The movie does not seem mediocre at all from any point of view. Mid movies are good.

Expectation from Movie

Now honestly friend, I was not expecting much from Salman Khan. But whatever little expectation was left in my heart, it was about the director of this movie A.R. Murugadoss. And I am telling you the truth, I did not find the movie so bad because Salman Khan is in this movie, his performance is bad. I already knew that. Salman Khan's performance is going to be bad, you get to know that by watching the trailer. But I found it the worst because the director of Ghajini, the director of Holiday, when he makes such a movie, selects such a script, when he himself writes such writing, then it feels the worst.

You yourself start thinking, you hold your head and think that the guy who made Ghajini, the guy who made two masterpiece movies like Holiday, then how can he write such movies and make such a movie. Now coming to Salman Khan. As a fan, I am in a lot of depression or literally very much. Brother, when I came out of the theatre after watching the movie, I did not feel like, look what Salman Khan has done, once again Salman Khan's hand-legs shaking movie has come out. I did not feel like that at all.

I was feeling very bad from inside. I mean I felt like, I don't know this Salman Khan, I don't want to know this Salman Khan. And at no point in the movie will you feel like Salman Khan is acting. While giving a performance in the movie or while delivering dialogues in the movie, you will feel like Salman Khan is very tired. It seems like he did not get enough sleep at night and he has been forcibly brought to the set. And friend, Murugadoss is also telling Salman Khan without a script that friend, Bhaijaan, do whatever comes to your mind.

The most special thing about this movie, how can I forget to talk about it, is the action of this movie. This Sikander movie is a living example of how a person can direct an action scene by putting in low effort. If you have seen the movie yourself, then you will know that if Salman Khan was putting in minus % effort while delivering dialogues or acting in the movie, then he was not putting in any effort while doing action. However, the person who was doing the action was not Salman Khan himself. We all know, he was a body double.

If you focus a little on Salman Khan's makeup in one or two shots, it looks like his face is hanging down. And okay Bhaijaan, if I ignore this thing a little bit, although this thing cannot be ignored, but still if I do it a little bit, then you easily notice that Salman Khan has recorded the action in a proper slow motion manner, and the same action has been fast forwarded by editing. Meaning, Bhaijaan, this movie is a living example that actually a movie can be made with very little effort.

Even friend, if I leave the movie aside and talk about the promotional material of the movie, wherever Salman Khan is going, there is no energy of Salman Khan at all. It seems that friend, he does not even feel like going for the promotion of the movie. Even you must have seen, an interview has come, at a place Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, his father Salim Khan and A.R. Murugadoss are sitting on a round table. There is a discussion going on about the movie where Salman Khan says that he used two dialogues of his father Salim Khan in this Sikander movie. You can see there how energetic and refreshed Aamir Khan looks.

You can feel the energy with which Aamir Khan is giving the interview. You feel that after many years he has met Murugadoss on camera, so he has to talk. So that means you notice that one thing. But on the other hand, when you see Salman Khan, you feel that, what should I say, the guy doesn't even feel like talking. He is being forced to talk. If I have to talk about this movie in a proper and simple way, then I would say that this movie is full on trauma. And it is not a minor trauma.

Don't dare to go to the theatre and enjoy the AC air thinking it to be a minor trauma. So you should understand that you are just entering the theatre, you will come out of the theatre in my condition, and that too within half time. Brother, if I talk about other cast in the movie, leaving Salman Khan, then first comes Rashmika. Brother, I found Rashmika's acting very bad. I am speaking literally, very bad. I feel like friend, she is going over and over and over everywhere else.

Final Verdict

You can go and see the review of Rashmika's previous movie Chhava. After watching it, I had said that I personally found Rashmika's performance very good. But friend, in this movie, not only Salman Khan made zero effort, Rashmika also took full advantage of that opportunity. She must be thinking that the lead actor of the movie is not acting properly, so what should I do, I will also take up a bit of acting. I would like to say only one thing about this movie in the end, if you love your life then avoid this movie. Just stay at home.
