Blessed Rain after Drought
Summer is here, and when the month of April comes, hot weather is expected. There are those joyful hours from the dry season but there are those annoying hours as well. It's very hot and sometimes it can't be handled, especially when going outside for too long or working in the middle of the day.
Rain once for this summer season is a blessing. The green leaves from the plants with the colors are truly fascinating to see. It's beautiful to watch after the rain pours into it. What's more beautiful is when it shows the morning light. It's not dark and it's not too bright as well.
It was a long hour when the rain poured earlier at dawn. I remember when I woke up in the middle of my sleep the rain had already started falling. Despite the hot feeling during sleeping from previous days. Last night was different, it had a colder environment so I decided to go back to sleep.
When it's already morning, probably 5 am. I woke up and immediately went outside to stroll. Of course, I brought my camera with me. This time I brought my Nikon d90 which has a better capture than the d3100 that I'd been bringing. I attached the 50 mm lens which is far better than a kit lens.
The morning was quiet and peaceful. It gave me a nice feeling when I walked around the area. It also gave a chilly feeling, thanks to the rain. I took a couple of shots of the plants being wet from the rain. It's been a while since I had this kind of feeling. That's why the rain is a blessing in this hot summer season.
