RE: Parenting: The Dilemma Of Not knowing when to Not Hold too tightly and not letting go too soon

In the African culture, a child's growth and development is in the hands of the parents and the word privacy for a child is never discussed. The child is at liberty to do or act as the parents would have specified.
I see privacy as a new generation ideal and I think it has caused more harm than good to children.
Privacy is a western world idea and you can see how some very dangerous children have emerged from that society.
