You have to remove the fear

You have to remove the fear of people if you are trusting Allah, its a hardest struggle for sure but you should always remember that Allah is our biggest protector, He exposes people evil intentions and plans for you, even they hurt you but still your matter remain in Allah's hand. All you have to do is to not fear them, i have seen someone's bad intention being exposed miraculously infront of everyone because victim was pure hearted, how beautifully Allah is listening their private plans and then they themselves expose it without realizing your sabar seems hard to endure at that time but you have to keep your intentions pure and leave the matter on Almighty, He handles everyone perfectly, you don't even need to indulge yourself in such acts when your biggest protector knows you and protecting you.
