TIL simplicity through observations
Today i learned that if you do the bare minimum for your body it actually responds well. At least in my case. The thing is, we often don't do even that for our bodies be it for laziness, sadness, not caring about it or not even knowing how to. But once you decide to give it some thought and roughly research online and test it on yourself, there's a good chance your body will respond like you want them to.
First and foremost, you gotta be patient. It's an organic body, not a machine. The results will vary depending on your location, weather, mobility or if you have hormonal imbalances or bruises. Anyway, these are some things i found out for myself that might be useful for you.
If you want soft skin, apply moisturizers in your skin, it does not need to be a fancy one, any moisturizer will do the trick, if you shave your fur or body hair frequently with care, apply even more of it. Specially after a bath or before sleep since the lack of movement will slow blood circulation on areas away from the heart, therefore making it drier. Make sure to whenever you apply moisturizer do a little self massage while you're at it. Firstly cause it's a nice feeling, Secondly because it increases blood flow too. Also drink lots of water and healthy foods otherwise this will all have been for nothing.
If you want to lessen your allergies or have trouble breathing in your sleep, it might be health problems you should consider seeing a doctor for, but you could also try to alleviate that by cleaning your bedroom and specially pillow sheets more often. Everyday or every two days. It doesn't need to be a big operation, just keep things in place, beat the sheets and sweep the floor.
If you don't want to deal with your hair, use tiaras or apply gel to keep it tight behind for a while.
If you want to increase your body's movement throughout the day or complete at least 60 minutes of workout per day, keep 3 alarms and chronometers for 20 minutes of random movement. Or 6 alarms for 10 minutes. If you choose the later it's a nice match to keep that in between rests of studies or work.
Find a way to express yourself, either using your appearance or something you do. It can be tied to you or anonymously. What's important here is that you don't keep things to yourself for too long, otherwise you might explode. Figuratively of course, you're not a bomb. Become a secret artist on the internet, write insane or trashy books under a pen name. Make a youtube channel to release angry gameplays or personal songs with a profile picture of a rock wearing a hat. Or make friends to tell your shit to, or perhaps have philosophical conversations with strangers. Or you know, the basics, therapy. If you can afford it.
I was born in an era without mobile phones, but since they came into society I've been tricked to depending on them for everything, when in reality, most of the time, a pencil and a piece of paper will do the trick. No need to over complicate things.
These are my revelations for today, farewell dear readers.
