This Side Of My Skin

Hoping to erase my blood's origin
As was so easy be of peasant blood instead of noble
Shades of red overshadowing the blue
But you wouldn't be satisfied cause the green still lingered
fear not your alien highness is now painted again
but this side of my skin
static like an old tube television
seems so futuristic now
my roots which rising from the keys
of the keyboard below your hands so eager for a click
a powerful machine that create everything
that is a lie
a dominant electronic beast
there is nothing organic here
yet this is the structure you see on this side of my skin
perfected to stupidity-
i keep forgetting my lines
Repeating words words like hoping you wouldn't see
windows crashing. wait? or close window?. error. Please No.
and when you surprise me with innovation
i can't hide my greenish population
decaying in confusion
to perform with seduction
so i can drive you away from this concoction
"It's just an update"
"Send it for analysis with anonymous data?"
"Perform self correction" button
it feverishly flows inside for the denial
but i glow in that reddish suicidal
the engine resisting somehow
where the age's decay allow
i hope i'm never found
underneath the keyboard

fingers weak from pulling the strings from the inside
aching leafs falling gradually to the ground
greenness turned brown
some decay on my feet
did Atlas feel this amount of weight holding the skies?
should i let all this work crumble before my eyes?
an empathy uncalled for
an emptiness unheard of
it's tiring to be grass
sometimes i wish i could touch me
the machinery keeps logging so many errors

and so there was rain today
washing my circuits away
electricity went off with desire
there was some camaraderie with the water i didn't want to acknowledge
as it washed my dying roots for another day
