Life Tips : The Manual Of Everything Part 2

To continue from that manual of life rendered by me, where i take notes of things i find interesting to remember that should help human life, see down below:

  • put it in your head: everyone has inherent worth regardless of their productivity
  • if you romanticize it and put it in an aesthetic way, it gets even more motivating to do. - Oh! i romanticize everything cause i am a being full of love!
  • normalize lying to anyone who is too curious about your private life, it's fun!
  • when you travel alone, make sure to lock the doors with the seatbelts wrapped around the arms place like a tight rope to make it more secure if anyone else tries to open it
  • waiting changes tastes and desires, words you wanted to hear yesterday don't mean the same today
  • start being okay with people misundestanding you
  • the difference between poison and remedy is just the dosage
  • you're bored because you don't do side quests. Life is more than just work and bed rotting.
  • befriend your discomfort! notice the discomfort in your body and mind. Invite these emotions for tea! set aside time and make an appointment. Then curiously ask... which emotions are wanting attention? Sit with them, help them feel seen, heard, and understood.
  • i don't know who needs to hear this but you're allowed to mourn the consequences of good decisions. It can be exactly the right thing for you, and it can make you really sad for a while
  • carry napkins everywhere, they are fancy and can do a lot for you in an emergency, from cleaning your glasses to offering them to some old lady sneezing who maybe rich whom you may marry for the cash, just sayin
  • don't wrestle the pig, you will both get muddy and only the pig will enjoy it
  • if a thought starts with what if, it's an intrusive thought. That means the thought isn't coming from you. It's the opposite of who you are and is there to scare you. Let it be, let it pass. You will be okay.
  • you can sit down on a chair to wash the dishes if you feel tired or hurt to do it on your feet, you can leave half of them to the next day if your energy feels dry. There's no need to do everything perfectly, do things as they suit you and your energy levels, choose your spoons*.

So what do you think of building your own notebook of life tips? rules made by you for you, these ones i wrote were not the only ones i have, they are perhaps the goofiest of them, but you can more serious, more personal and organize yourself according to your standards, it's a nice exercise for the mind and an observational one as well.

From wikipedia, since it's interesting.

Spoon theory is a metaphor describing the amount of physical or mental energy that a person has available for daily activities and tasks, and how it can become limited. The term was coined in a 2003 essay by American writer Christine Miserandino. In the essay, Miserandino describes her experience with chronic illness, using a handful of spoons as a metaphor for units of energy available to perform everyday actions. The metaphor has since been used to describe a wide range of disabilities, mental health issues, forms of marginalization, and other factors that might place unseen burdens on individuals.
