2 dangerous women force you to lock in with tech house mix that's brutally deep
And here i am locking in with this playlist from ackerlady, to obtain discipline and some self respect. But how can anyone learn to do these concepts? As with all things in this blog, i am going to dive deep into what builds discipline, and how that can make you see some worth or merit in yourself. To avoid imposter syndrome and anything bad.
One of the aspects of creating discipline is to keep doing it until you make it, consistency. Show up everyday, sacrifice some play time for the serious deal you want to do and repeat. Even if you're bad at it, even if it's hard. It isn't really hard, it's just new. This, if done correctly with patience would turn your desire into a habit then one day you will do it just as another daily core like brushing your teeth. It's simple, yet necessary. Everyday is a must. Then you will have acquired discipline. But even in that simple rule, some people still struggle to keep going due to how boring things get over time, specially if you're trying to do something you don't like, but there is a solution for that, a simple change of mindset regarding to the consistency necessary for discipline. You see, consistency can be said to be something in the same way over and over again, but to broaden that concept you could rather say doing it repeatedly with a small difference, a simple change in pattern, a challenge can motivate you to keep going once things get unbearably boring. If you dislike routine or want to get something new out of what you're doing, open your eyes and find challenges within the shit you wanna do.
An other idea i saw about this was interesting but i never thought about it this way. It goes like this: "When you go to sleep, you close your eyes and pretend you are sleeping until you are. That's how everything works." And let me tell you that two line text got stuck in my head for a very long time. Almost made me remember some weird stuff i saw on the internet that was a more extreme version of this. Reality Shifting to sum it up, people would create these fictional universes and pretend they live there, in another reality. Sounds awesome and surreal. Anyway, back to simple things. Of you can't stretch this concept that much as with death, pain or disease or some uncontrollable situation the world has thrown onto your lap. BUT it is still possible to play with this. Imagine you want to become a genius in history. One day, you wake up and ask yourself "What would a genius do? How do they live their everyday life?" Then you proceed to make your entire day exactly the same of that genius, you are them, you are an expert in history, you are in love with knowledge! Everyday a genius in history would separate the most of their time to do they love. Which is studying history. There is no imposter syndrome, just excitement for the knowledge you have yet to obtain. - You live like that for a few months or years and one day you will have actually become one. Sure there are better examples, but you get the gist of it. Just go and play pretend my friend. Become the shapeshifter you are meant to be! Discipline, with this second concept, is a piece of cake.
Oh where is the self respect you ask? with me writing these blogs everyday and pretending i am cool writer. I have accomplished a promise to myself. And my self respect came along with it. It's your turn now.
