To me scary is that I don't have answers to these questions:

  • WHO, and at what circumstances will have all the POWERS (keys) to mint the remaining 900K LSTR? Who is that person?
  • How exactly LSTR holders are protected from this happening one day (at somebody's plain, subjective will) ?

Don‘t you think they‘ll maybe put them on market to accumulate more $LEO sooner or later? 🤔

No, I don't think that is the plan for now. Lets see what the team of LSTR says on it.

That is something only The Leostrategy or Khal can tell us. I hope they answer.

My not-much-informed take:
As it is an asset backed "security", this is the case in which the "scarcity" of the supply, a classic in crypto, is not at play.
As long as the backing is "coded" into the white paper, they could activate.. 1/2

2/2 .. More $LSTR when having enough reserves to back it with them. That should not change the price whatsoever and in my case it would show that the master plan is succeeding so I would be bullish.. 😅
Again, my two sats

To me, minting more would not be a bad thing - if ... (and only if..) further sales don't happen at a discount (such as we experience at our intitial sale) - but at a premium (NPV taking into account future USDC Cashflows).

Minting more then would just allow the flywheel to increase faster - while the additional shares provide a small benefit for the current holders (the premium).

But yeah - this is something you would want to determine beforehand.
