The Millonaire Explorer in Rimworld - Chapter 1 [EN/ES]
It's been a long time since I've played Rimworld and I really like that game because of the stories that form around the characters, it's like an open book where the story is being created live as we play, there are so many things that can come up randomly that it's fascinating. Recently I had to install a new hard drive and going through my backup I was very nostalgic to see the game, so today we are going to create a story from scratch.
Before I want to clarify, I repeat, I have a long time without playing and it is likely to make some mistakes, anyway, the idea is to enjoy the story that is forming with everything and errors or successes. Let's start.

Hace mucho tiempo que no juego Rimworld y realmente me gusta ese juego por las historias que se forman en torno a los personajes, es como un libro abierto donde la historia se va creando en vivo mientras jugamos, hay tantas cosas que pueden surgir de forma aleatoria que es fascinante. Recientemente tuve que instalar un nuevo disco duro y revisando en mi respaldo me dio mucha nostalgia ver el juego, así que hoy vamos a crear una historia desde cero.
Antes quiero aclarar, repito, tengo mucho tiempo sin jugar y es probable que cometa algunos errores, de todas maneras, la idea es disfrutar la historia que se va formando con todo y errores o aciertos. Empecemos.
Chapter 1
The Millionaire Explorer
This man comes from a wealthy family, although his mother started with a small store that later became a large chain, she taught him how to be a good manager and the art of negotiating. Bundy Morales, that's the name of our protagonist, tired of the routine and the good life, had a dream of exploring the galaxy, so, after the death of his mother due to an illness, he ventured alone in a ship until he reached a distant planet, taking with him some supplies, gold and silver. Everyone called him crazy, because he left his life of luxury for an adventure from which it is not known if he would survive.

Capitulo 1
El Explorador Millonario
Este hombre viene de una familia adinerada, aunque su madre empezó con una pequeña tienda que luego se convirtió en una gran cadena, ella le enseñó como ser un buen administrador y el arte de negociar. Bundy Morales, así se llama nuestro protagonista, cansado de la rutina y la buena vida, tenía un sueño de explorar la galaxia, así que, luego de la muerte de su madre por una enfermedad, se aventuró él solo en una nave hasta llegar a un planeta lejano, llevando consigo algo de suministro, oro y plata. Todos le llamaban loco, porque dejó su vida de lujos por una aventura de la cual no se sabe si sobreviviría.
Bundy Morales, 32 years old, begins his adventure, although he had a privileged childhood, he learned a lot about animal husbandry and the art of negotiation through socialization, his passion is agriculture and he has some mastery with firearms. His greatest characteristic is his great memory. In his early youth he graduated as a Ranger, a profession he took up only out of passion.
On the other hand, he did not know how to cook, a disadvantage that could be a big problem for his survival on the new planet. The good thing is that he knows some medicine and has some intelligence, although not so much as to go to an unknown planet without company and with very little repair. He brought along his pet, a 9-year-old Labrador retriever named Kepler.
Speaking of the planet, it is inhabited by several tribes, each one has different traits and beliefs, I could see that in one of them its inhabitants are cannibals, therefore very dangerous.
The place where Bundy landed is a jungle with an average temperature of 20º, not bad.
Day 0 of the arrival of Bundy Morales

Bundy Morales de 32 años inicia su aventura, a pesar de que tuvo una infancia privilegiada, aprendió mucho sobre la cría de animales y el arte de la negociación a través de la socialización, su pasión es la agricultura y tiene cierto dominio con las armas de fuego. Su mayor característica es su gran memoria. En su juventud temprana se graduó como Guardabosque, una profesión que tomó solo por pasión.
Por otro lado, no sabía cocinar una desventaja que podría ser un gran problema para su supervivencia en el nuevo planeta. Lo bueno es que sabe algo de medicina y tiene algo de inteligencia, aunque no tanto como para irse a un planeta desconocido sin compañía y con muy poca reparación. Se trajo consigo su mascota, un perro labrador de 9 años llamado Kepler.
Hablando del planeta, esta habitado por varias tribus, cada una tiene rasgos y creencias diferentes, pude ver que en una de ellas sus habitantes son caníbales, por tanto muy peligrosa.
El lugar donde aterrizo Bundy es una selva con una temperatura promedio de 20º, nada mal.
Día 0 de la llegada de Bundy Morales
The jungle is full of wild animals, including panthers, elephants, as well as animals such as alpacas and turkeys that can be domesticated. Bundy explored the area a bit, took the resources he brought in his capsule and decided to set up a small shelter near the mountain. He thought it would be a good idea to make a cave inside the mountain, but he doesn't know how to mine.
After several hours of hard work, Bundy was able to build a wooden wall with three doors where he could take shelter, he also placed several torches to illuminate the area, unfortunately he slept on the floor because fatigue overcame him, his sleep was accompanied by a torrential rain.

La selva esta llena de animales salvajes, entre ellos panteras, elefantes, también hay animales como alpacas y pavos que se pueden domesticar. Bundy exploro un poco la zona, tomó los recursos que trajo en su capsula y se decidió en acondicionar un pequeño refugio cerca de la montaña. Pensó en que sería buena idea hacer una cueva dentro de la montaña, pero no sabe minar.
Luego de varias horas de mucha labor, Bundy pudo levantar un muro de madera con tres puertas donde poder refugiarse, además colocó varias antorchas para iluminar la zona, lamentablemente durmió en el piso porque el cansancio le venció, su sueño estuvo acompañado de una lluvia torrencial.
Day 1
The next day Bundy woke up at 6am, the rain continued and he had to go out to collect survival supplies and other materials, soaking his clothes, this generated some discomfort that put him in a bit of a bad mood, however there is a lot of work to do so he can feel comfortable.
He was felling wood near the shelter to be able to make a bed and other furniture, he built a small storage room to keep the supplies, so they would not be damaged.

Día 1
Al otro día Bundy se levantó a las 6am, la lluvia seguía y tuvo que salir a recoger suministros de supervivencia y otros materiales, empapando su ropa, esto le generó cierta incomodidad que le puso un poco de mal humor, sin embargo hay mucho trabajo por hacer para que pueda sentirse cómodo.
Estuvo talando madera cerca del refugio para poder realizar una cama y otros muebles, construyó un pequeño almacén para guardar los suministros, para que no se dañen.
Day 2
Bundy woke up in a wooden bed, he was able to build it at last, and he started to mine, he did not have how to do it but he was practicing for several hours until he was able to dig and remove a stone wall from the shelter. Bundy felt a little worried, he sensed that at any moment he could receive a visitor, whether they would be peaceful or perhaps hostile, how to know, so he was thinking of creating some defense, although he had no idea how to do it.

El día 2
Bundy amaneció en una cama de madera, pudo construirla al fin, y se puso manos a la obra a minar, no tenía cómo hacerlo pero estuvo practicando varias horas hasta poder excavar y quitar un muro de piedra del refugio. Bundy sentía un poco de preocupación, presentía que en cualquier momento podría recibir alguna visita, si serían pacíficos o tal vez hostiles, cómo saberlo, por ello estaba pensando en crear alguna defensa, aunque no tenía idea de cómo hacerlo.
Day 3
Bundy built a horseshoe game so he could recreate, he tried to make a dining chair so he would have a place to sit, but he didn't know how to do it, he needs to keep practicing building and making things.
His intense mining allowed him to move up a level in his skill, you could say he already knows what mining is all about.
Day 4
Starting day 4, he set out to make a wood stove since the emergency supplies could not last forever, Bundy takes into account that he has no idea how to cook, on his home planet he had servants who constantly made him very good dishes, however, he was determined to be independent and learn everything he needed to survive. He also set out to make a comfortable bed for Kepler, his only companion so far.

Día 3
Bundy construyó un juego de la herradura para poder recrearse, intentó hacer una silla de comedor para tener un lugar donde sentarse, pero no supo hacerlo, necesita seguir practicando la construcción y elaboración de cosas.
Su intenso trabajo de minería le permitió subir un nivel en su habilidad, se podría decir que ya sabe de que va la minería.
Día 4
Iniciando el día 4, se propuso hacer una cocina de leña ya que los suministros de emergencia no podrían durar para siempre, Bundy toma en cuenta que no tiene idea de cómo cocinar, en su planeta natal contaba con sirvientes que constantemente le hacían muy buenos platos, sin embargo, estaba decidido a ser independiente y aprender todo lo necesario para sobrevivir. También se propuso en hacer una cama cómoda para Kepler, el único compañero hasta ahora.
Kepler did not feel comfortable with his new sleeping box, it turned out to be too small for him, Bundy failed in the measurements.
Bundy mined another part of the small mountain, removed the stone chunks and swept the inside, his little shelter looking more and more like a home.
While Bundy was sleeping, a group of 5 people passed very close to his shelter, one of them named Bink, it turned out to be Bundy's father. They had no hostile intentions because they passed by without even waking him up, but they were still very well armed all of them.

Kepler no se sintió a gusto con su nueva caja para dormir, resulto ser muy pequeña para él, Bundy falló en las medidas.
Bundy mino otra parte de la pequeña montaña, retiró los trozos de piedra y barrió el interior, cada vez su pequeño refugio se parece más a un hogar.
Mientras Bundy dormía, un grupo de 5 personas paso muy cerca de su refugio, uno de ellos llamado Bink, resultó ser el padre de Bundy. No tenían intenciones hostiles porque pasaron sin siquiera despertarlo, pero aun así estaban muy bien armados todos ellos.
Day 5
Bundy woke up wanting to improve his building skills, he decided to tear down one of the wooden walls of his shelter to create it again but made of stone. After tearing down the wall, he realized that he had no wood, so he had to build it out of wood again.
While he was taking a break, he saw a chinchilla and decided to practice his aim. He hunted the small animal for a while until he was finally able to kill it. He was very happy to take his prey back to the shelter to cut it up and to use his new wood-burning stove for the first time.

Día 5
Bundy amaneció con ganas de mejorar su habilidad para construir, se le ocurrió derribar uno de los muros de madera de su refugio para crearlo nuevamente pero de piedra. Luego de derribar el muro, se dio cuenta que no contaba con madera, así que tuvo que armarlo de madera nuevamente.
Mientras se tomaba un descanso, vio un chinchilla y se le ocurrió practicar su puntería. Estuvo un rato cazando al pequeño animal hasta que al final pudo matarlo. Muy contento llevaba su presa al refugio para despiezarlo y estrenas su nueva cocina a leña.
After a while, Bundy was able to make his first simple meal, with his own hands.
The next thing is to log for wood and continue building to improve his skills and be able to make more advanced constructions.
Day 5 was quite productive, he not only felled the wood needed to raise the wooden wall again, but also built a table and the foundations to build a quarry-like workstation where he could make blocks of stone, marble, among others.

Luego de un rato, Bundy pudo hacer su primera comida sencilla, con sus propias manos.
Lo siguiente es talar para conseguir madera y seguir construyendo para mejorar su habilidad y poder hacer construcciones más avanzadas.
El día 5 estuvo bastante productivo, no solo taló la madera necesaria para levantar de nuevo el muro de madera, sino que también construyó una mesa y las bases para construir una estación de trabajo tipo cantera donde podría realizar bloques de piedra, mármol, entre otros.
We finish this first chapter of Bundy Morales, the beginning of his adventure. How long could this millionaire explorer survive? I hope a long time and at least he manages to create a small village or tribe.
