Game on: My Journey to the Ongoing Sports Festival

I have talked about my recent traveling in one of my posts. Which is Jos, and it took me two days to get to the place I was going. Well, we had a stopover because I can't just sit in a bus for two good days without a stopover. Although it's another journey entirely when we are coming back. I think the driver knows a better way, and we only spent a day on the road.

Not much stopping over, unlike when we are going.Although I always have good plans to go several places, I can't do that because of finances. In that case, I got what also makes me travel once in a while, which is taekwondo, the sport I love to do. Although some dreams can be nothing to lots of people, here is mine, and I love it so much. When I was in Jos, I met lots of people from different places.

Well, that's not what I will be talking about.I also traveled this week, although it's just about 70 kilometers away from where I'm staying, but no small journey, I guess, because a lot can happen in that journey. It is the national sports festival, which is going on presently in Ogun State, so I traveled there to learn more about my sport and to gain more experience, because no man knows it all. By the way, it's an avenue to introduce the sport to my younger ones.

She's a lady, and I want her to see how everything has been done. So we left home on Tuesday this week, and honestly I have three athletes competing in competition. Since it's not a school competition, I'm more like a guest here, as we are just here to see how things are being done. I got there with my sister, lodged in a hotel, and got to the venue. The sport started, and we cheered up all my athletes who were fighting, but unfortunately luck wasn't on our side this time around; it was just one out of three athletes that got to the final.

By then life is all about winning and losing anyways. Since it's an avenue to introduce my sister to a lot of people, I did that because when she also starts fighting, she will already be recognized. She makes friends with lots of people and I also meet my long time friends.I took my sister to a nice restaurant, we went shopping, and we ate good food. Meanwhile, I saw her very happy, and we came back home yesterday. We actually had a nice time there with lots of people.

Meanwhile, my next journey will be to Ghana, as I said in my post some time ago. Although I'm going there for sports, I'm then going to meet with my Hive girlfriend @nhaji01 and some of my other friends here on Hive. I've heard and seen a lot of videos about Ghanaian food and how they eat every food with eggs, and I won't mind trying their overrated rice. I will be hanging out with my friends and lots more.

Is a good thing to go after what you love, travelling to go watch sports, that's a good one and an opportunity to visit those places you have not been before

Very cool that you will find other athletes, with people of Hive and even with your love! It is proof that traveling can be pleasant and interesting. I hope you keep having the opportunity to do it, it's a lot of fun!
