My love for splinterlands, i'm No longer an admirer but a participant
I have been a lover of interesting games for as long as I can recall, especially creative games with good graphics. Today, I decided to make my first bold move towards Splinterland's game, a game that I have been eyeing for so long without playing. I have been following lots of quite interesting posts concerning Splinterlands and reading as many posts and articles as I could find online about it. Today is a great day because I finally decided to make my first move by playing the Splinterlands game.
One of the things that interested me was that even though it was online, the network was good and the site wasn't delayed, unlike some gaming platforms that tend to slow down when there is too much traffic. Another thing that intrigued me was seeing all the unique characters in Splinterlands that I have always admired, especially because of their appearance, superpowers, and the unique abilities each one possesses.
I like Goblin Psychic (Earth Splinter) for its ability to restore the health of a friendly monster to a certain level in the first position of each round. The Cursed Windeku is also a unique character I like because it gives damage to attackers, especially when they hit with a melee attack.
Among all the interesting things I love about the Splinterlands game, there is one thing I still find difficult to understand, and I wish someone could assist me. The main issue I'm having is understanding how the gameplay works or how to actually play the game. I had no issue understanding the cards; in fact, that was among the first things I understood during the time of the Splinterlands contest that I witnessed last year and even in the early parts of this year in the Splinterlands community on Hive.
In that contest, members were allowed to make digital art of the different characters found in Splinterlands. Though I was not part of the contest, mainly because I wasn’t good at digital art, I supported with good comments that could encourage the artists to keep doing their beautiful work and to never give up. Following the Splinterlands community has also motivated me to start taking basic tutorials on how to make beautiful digital drawings. I must say that this community has influenced me in ways other communities haven’t, and I consider that one of the reasons why the Splinterlands community is unique in its own way.
One more thing that intrigued me today while trying to access the Splinterlands game on the official website was when an email or username and password were requested for further access. Instinctively, I entered my Hive username and tested my keys, and access was granted. Nothing intrigued me more than seeing how these amazing platforms are interconnected how they serve as gateways to one another while running on the same blockchain. This is truly one of the best parts: not having to create different passwords and usernames for different websites, which can sometimes be complicated.
I want to let members of the Splinterlands community know that I appreciate all the wonderful things happening in this community as well as the ongoing development in Splinterlands. I would also love it if someone could help me with an explanation or even a video on how to play the Splinterlands game. I will kindly appreciate anyone’s replies or comments.
Thank you.
