Warborn Chieftain, A Powerful Ally

There are many useful and powerful cards in the current edition of reward cards and for this reason one of my main goals in Splinterlands is to get all of them to the maximum level before a new edition of reward cards is released.

Today I will talk about the Warborn Chieftain, he is one of the legendary monsters in the current edition of reward cards and he belongs to the earth deck.

The Warborn Chieftain is not my main choice for battles with the earth deck, in fact this will depend on the strategy I use because depending on it the Warborn Chieftain can become an even more incredible monster, especially when he is at maximum level since he has great abilities.

Now I will talk about the Warborn Chieftain's abilities, they are: Phase, Dispel, Shield, Demoralize and Stun.

The Phase ability makes the Warborn Chieftain capable of evading magical attacks. The Warborn Chieftain doesn't have much attack speed, but if I use a strategy to increase his attack speed, then the Phase ability will be very useful and the Warborn Chieftain will become an even more incredible defense for the battle.

The Dispel ability makes the Warborn Chieftain remove all magical buffs from the monster he hits with the attack.

The Shield ability makes the Warborn Chieftain only receive half damage against physical attacks, this means he will receive half damage against melee and ranged attacks.

The Demoralize ability makes the Warborn Chieftain decrease the melee attack of enemy monsters by -1 while he is in battle. If the Warborn Chieftain is defeated in battle, then the enemy monsters will recover the lost melee attack.

The Stun ability makes the Warborn Chieftain have a 50% chance to apply Stunned to the monster he hits with the attack. Stunned monsters cannot attack or use any ability for 1 round.

In my opinion, what makes the Warborn Chieftain an incredible monster are his abilities, and for this reason it is important to evolve him to the maximum level.

My current strategy is to open Loot Chests in the reward shop, so my chances of getting legendary cards are low, and taking into account that a new edition of cards will be released in Splinterlands in April, it shouldn't be long before a new edition of Reward cards is released as well, maybe in less than 1 year. For this reason, I think I will change my strategy to open Rarity Draws and have the reward cards as my main focus.
