Explaining about Melee Cards, and Summoner Mylor Crawling

Today I'm going to talk about the Mylor Crowling card, so join me on this brief journey of knowledge.
In Splinterlands, melee attack cards are generally very powerful, and for this reason they have a disadvantage: they can't attack from any position; they can only attack when they are in the first position.
There are abilities that allow melee cards to attack from other positions. These abilities are: Charge, Opportunity, Reach, and Sneak.
I won't go into detail about how these abilities work, but they all allow melee cards to attack from other positions. You can find more information about them at the link below.
Now let's get to the main focus of this post, which is the Mylor Crowling card.

In the past, Mylor Crowling was one of my favorite summoners for battle because the Thorns ability is very powerful when your opponent uses melee cards in battle.
Mylor Crowling only costs 3 mana and belongs to the Earth Deck; its only advantage is granting the Thorns ability to all allied cards.

Thorns: Returns 2 physical damage to the attacker when hit by a melee attack.
As I mentioned at the beginning of the post, most melee attack cards are powerful because they deal a lot of damage and are also great at defense. For this reason, they have the disadvantage of not being able to attack in any position without the help of an ability or battle rule.
I forgot to mention before, but there are also battle rules that help melee cards attack in any position, and these rules are: Equal Opportunity, Maneuvers, Melee Mayhem, and Super Sneak.
You can find more information about these battle rules at the link below.
Now I'll show the Mylor Crowling card in battle.

Watch The Battle
A simple battle where my opponent used 3 melee cards, so the Thorns ability was useful in the battle and helped my opponent's melee cards lose Divine Shield and also some life.
A tip is to recommend using the Amplify ability to make the Thorns ability deal even more damage in battle.
Currently there are better summoner options like Eternal Tofu, but Mylor Crowling is still a great choice when you have little mana available.

Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands, Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den, and Genesis League Goals.
For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".
Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.
