I just posted a question about this. Any chance you can share some insight into this out of your own experience? I'm trying to figure out what is good to hold on the Hive blockchain and for what reasons.
Well I hold lots of things, but as far as "good" to hold..I am not really sure. 😀

HIVE - most of which I will delegate to @leo.voter for the return in LEO 😀
HBD
After that, I don't know.
I like CENT because there are so many pools where you can earn a pretty good return.
Some of the income tokens seem good, but I have not really delved into them yet.
My problem before has been chasing rabbits, so part of my goals this year are to laser focus on LEO/HIVE/HBD and build something that can help me transition to my "retirement" years (though I doubt I will actually retire).
I also want to put more of my day to day financial activities on HIVE and get to the point where the blockchain becomes my bank.
Those are good goals, thank you for your insight, I believe I'm on the right path as I also feel I should focus more on Leo/Hive/HBD.
I'm sure you'll be able to retire, you just won't want to, I mean, it's better to be active right?
I am not really fond of the idea of traditional retirement, but I am fond of the idea of being able to.

I have read that it can be done relatively cheaply, but you can't do all of the fancy stuff.
Most say it is expensive though. A boat needs fixing a lot and needs a lot of creature comforts to make it palatable long-term.
I do love the thought of it though, and have enjoyed being on sailboats in the past.
Yeah, you know what, lately more and more people have taken to living on boats, they say it's relatively cheaper than paying rent or owning a condo.
It is a freer lifestyle mostly. Not cheaper or easier necessarily. 😀

How much Hive or HP is your goal?
Not really sure yet. I am currently doing some calculations. I think I am going to try and keep my total $HIVE and $LEO about the same total value. I think that will make my goal about 70,000 HIVE.
I will probably lean toward having more HIVE because I can delegate it to @leo.voter and get more LEO!!
Nice plan. Do you earn all Hive by blogging etc.? Or do you also buy Hive from Fiat? If I may ask.
Only earn by curation right now. Plan to start blogging...someday.
Also am converting $LEO to $HIVE...for now until I reach whatever goal I decide.
All of the rest (a majority is fiat conversion). My plan is to build a very good HIVE/LEO base and earn somewhat passively from that and $HBD.
