Can you spot the flowers emerging in the garden egg plants, they are truly a sign that soon enough we will be eating some garden eggs from this spot.

It's my first time experience of seeing how garden eggs are grown and I must tell you that it has been an exciting journey so far from the very first weeks these were planted.

I thought that garden eggs can only be planted in the garden as the name implies but looking at how these have grown I believe that any good soil is good enough for growing garden eggs. So long as the soil is fertile and there is enough moisture content.

It's about 2months plus since these were planted. Gradually these have been kept growing consistently with no challenge. The leaves have been green all through as well. For most plants once you notice these flowering it takes less than a week or two before we begin to spots some fruits all over the plants.

Garden eggs have found so many important use especially in traditional medicine and as a recipe for our meals. I believe that there are also different specie of garden eggs. I have eating some that are bitter in taste while are just so sweet that you will be hungry for more. I have adapted to eating any available specie as I often device means to cook anyone as desired. Either as cooked meal or eating fresh as fruits you will enjoy garden eggs.

I'm so pleased that eventually we get to not just see how garden egg is grown but to enjoy a first hand harvested fruits.
