What to know about the Best farming season and Harvest time for Fluted Pumpkins.
Hello Hive.
Today we will be planting the very last set of our rice grains. It's almost September and planting time is far gone and already late but daddy insisted that we plant it and see what fate lies ahead.
If the rains could cease for this long it might last us till the first week in the month Of November which will be just enough for the rice planted now to do well. He has already spent so much time and effort in taking care of the land and doesn't want the place to lie fallow just because we fail to plant. Some manual weeding was even carries out on the land in which we removed all the grasses that refused to wither even after applying herbicides. These are the grasses that will take over the farm as soon as the rice grains germinate.
On our way home I decided to harvest some fluted Pumpkins but upon reaching the pumpkin farms I realized that the vegetables are struggling to survive
One thing I have learnt is the best time for Harvesting fluted Pumpkins or any other vegetables. Vegetables cannot be harvest when there is a drought and they are struggling to survive. That action can make them to wither away almost instantly.
Rainfall(moisture) is often needed whenever vegetables are to be harvested, it's helps them to revitalize almost immediately and begin to grow new stems.
Fluted Pumpkins can be planted all year round as long as there is adequate moisture content, a well fertilized soil and maximum protection from the sun against high temperatures. Once these prerequisites are meet you can plant fluted Pumpkins anywhere. I have some fluted Pumpkins I have planted in sac at home but won't be harvesting them anytime soon, I want that to grow and probably be able to produce some seeds for me.
While these ones are in the farm, the ground is pretty much dried from lack of rain and it's such a bad timing to think of harvesting some veggies now. Each time I feel pale and weak. Taking some fluted vegetables is often my first priority due to its blood boosting ability. I have been placed on constant daily intake of folic acid by the doctor but I have never been faithful to that. I prefer taking vegetables that will boost my blood or fruits for my supply of Vitamins. This is the reason I have constantly grown vegetables both in a garden at home and also in the farms.
Yes, with adequate moisture in the soli vegetables will grow perfectly. Some people watered them every morning just to have that moisture.
That true, thanks for addition.
You are welcome.
