Such a long Road to Perfection, such as I have learnt.
Hello Family
It's a beautiful and sunny day, and about that peak of time, we must have gotten exhausted from our various works and yearning for some rest and lunch. While some work gives us room for a lunch break, others do not, as the workload sometimes is intense. Nevertheless, do not forget to take care of your health and eat appropriately.
I believe that some jobs have begun their holiday breaks already as we approach the festive week in a few hours. Everybody is preparing, no matter how little, and if you are unable to get anything set, there is always room for more Christmas, and we hope for better celebration in the future.
As seamstresses are busy making new clothes for different people, I am not equally left out of the train.
Each time I think about how much I have wanted to give up on my sewing career, I just look at myself and smile. Time is all it took; things got better with time.
There were times when I made clothes that neither fit the owner nor were worth wearing at all because the design was totally ruined. This made me lose interest in sewing. In one moment I would wish to sew, and immediately I make a mistake, and I abandon the whole outfit in frustration.
I started sewing in the year 2018 when I first paddled a machine but never got better with my skills until now. Even now I wish that I could be better, but I believe that it is a long road to perfection.
I never believe that I can still make mistakes in sewing even now, but sometimes these mistakes are unavoidable; even with utmost care, these things still happen. We can get distracted while working and cut the fabrics in the wrong place, or we can totally miscalculate our measurements.
While making this dress, I had intended to sew a basket technique for the first time, and I missed the dress; this shortened the dress length so much, making it neither short nor long and totally unpresentable.
Since then I have been thinking about what to do with the outfit, as it is my sister's Christmas dress.
The fabric was exhausted, making that a bigger problem.
Now I had to introduce another fabric of matching color into the outfit in a manner that the outfits won't look odd.
I started with the sleeves and got some tulle net to use for it.
Next I took out all the remaining pieces of the fabric, left joining them together, and hoping that I can get a short flair to fit into the tip of the flair.
Then the idea of pleating the tulle at the base of the dress to make up for the lost inches pops up. I felt that it sounded odd, but I had to try something.
After sewing the pleating, I realized that it came out beautifully and fitted into the dress, giving me an entirely new outfit style.
I like the outcome completely. Subsequent design of his manner won't come with mistakes, and sewing this for the first time made me feel more confident. I'm always happy that I never gave up, and even when mistakes come up, we creatively seek corrections.

The dress style is so beautiful, you did an amazing job.
I get that exhaustion, my legs already ache so much, and the lack of electricity to use resulting in manual sewing machine usage is my current situation. God help us.
