Our grains are ready to be picked, The importance of prompt harvest .
Hello Hive

A beautiful morning to all our friends and supporters here; to everyone who appreciate our labour and encourages us we do not take the advice and support for granted.
How fast the time flies with yet so much on ground for us to do here. We are still harvesting our groundnuts and between today and tomorrow the last batch of our groundnuts will have been harvested.

While at that you can see that our rice is completely ready for harvest. The importance of prompt harvest cannot be over emphasized especially for rice plants.
Alot of damage can occur when we fail to pickup our grains early. These grains on the plant are often loosely held and when it's time for harvest and harvest isn't done promptly it could cause the grains to get scattered up from the plants into the field and by this they can't be picked up anymore.

Harvest can be carried out as soon as the grains are very well dried like this one and not necessarily when the leaves of the rice plants are dried. Harvest is most convenient at this stage because when the leaves get dried along side they grains they make the harvested grains get dirty and filled of grasses During harvest, making winnowing a difficult process. We will be easing ourselves of such unnecessary burden by pocking up our grains early.

As soon as we conclude with picking our groundnut today and today we will move towards harvesting this grains by this weekend. While these grains are also ready to be picked up, no rodents, animals or human should be allowed to walk in the field, we also have to watch out against wild fire too as a lot of hunters are coming out already for their hunting exercise. We keep guarding our grains and keep a close watch at it until harvest is completed.
Wow, great, am happy, it's harvest period, the reward has come
