Good day to my friends and family onchain, hope your day is coming on well. Mine has been more peaceful today and the cloudy weather has kept me indoors. I don't want to get caught in any sudden down.

I finally made my first every chain stitch.

Gradually I have been able to sew most of the graduation ceremony wears with me, I decided to take a break from sewing when the power supply was yanked off. Like you all know just how much sewing gets easier when there is power supply.

Not having much to do for the morning I sighted my yarns from the corner of the room and decided to practice a little.

Crocheting is a peaceful and soothing activities for me even as a beginner I can relate with how much my fellow crocheters in chain say that they feel relax with the yarns and needles. I never knew that there was this much peace with crochet.

Before the journey to this day it took me a while to learn how to use the yarn and needles. Crocheting is so much different from knitting even though they can be used to achieve almost similar result.

I took the yard on my own and decided to start with the chain Stich, but pulling out the yarn from the hook was a battle. I fought with the yarn and hook for days until I sought for the assistance of my dearest @rare-gem, we started this journey together. She was also fascinated by yarns and her roommates being a crocheted. After battling with the chain Stich, how to control the hook and all she eventually made a breakthrough from watching several videos. Her room mate was equally of much assistance to her. From Theresa she has made her first ever brallet, head band and other tiny projects.

In my own case i often learn better offline and with a physical tutor than online. With @rare-gem around I was able to learn and made my first ever chain stitch.

I'm so happy to have finally caught a grasp of the basic idea and starting point for crocheting.

Along the line I have equally learnt the different types of fake yarns available, both the ones that stretches and the quality one.

I got used to using the 3mm hook which got lost in my room during the days of rigorous learning exercise.

This 2mm and 5mm hook are the two left with me and Im hoping that soon enough I will get at least $10 to go purchase the set of hooks. Having all the sizes can create idea in one's mind on what to do.
