Jute Harvesting
Hello Photography Lovers
Hope you are well wherever you are. It is time for jute harvesting. Village farmers cut jute trees and put them in water so that the soft part of the bark of the jute tree rots and the thread-like fibers come out. Jute is a very expensive crop. Many fabrics including ropes, cloth, sacks and bags are made from jute. Therefore, there is a huge demand for jute fibers and farmers cultivate this crop profitably. The life span of jute is usually 3 years. Cultivating jute is difficult and requires a lot of effort and has to be done without any kind of machine. Anyway, some photos of jute harvesting are shared below, I hope you enjoy.
This is a village girl and a farmer's daughter. The girl is very hardworking. Along with her studies, she helps her father a lot. When the school is off, the girl works in agriculture all day.
This girl's mother sits here collecting lint, she may be busy somewhere, that's why the chair is empty.

These jute fibers are collected and stored in this way.
The jute stalks have been dried very well, they can be used for fuel and fence making.
In this way, jute rafts are made and immersed in water so that the jute fibers can be easily removed.

Beautiful photos!
I love this photo of the empty chair because I can feel the hard work and beautiful culture, even without her sitting in it. The swan also seems to be joining in their work. Thank you for sharing such amazing photos.
