Common Mormon butterfly, the speed of its wings is amazing
Hello Photography Lover
Hope you are well wherever you are.
Today I have been very busy and have not had time to rest. Busyness should not end, even if you are tired, you have to keep yourself active. This is life.
Today I want to share with you the photos of a butterfly. I went to the crop field near our house with my camera to take photographs. There, in a field, I first saw a bumblebee that was eating nectar from a flower. I managed to take a few photos and saw a Common Mormon butterfly eating nectar from a flower. I entered the crop, but I was also afraid because the landowner might abuse me. Still, I 🤣entered the crop field and started taking photos. After a while, the landowner appeared there. He did not say anything to me but just looked at me and he must have wondered what I was doing on his crop land but he got the answer by himself that I was taking photographs. He did not abuse me and his curiosity surprised me. Anyway, I slowly approached the butterfly, and tried to take photos. But the butterfly was very fast, its wings were very fast. Still, I was able to take some beautiful photos, I am sharing the photos below, I hope you enjoy them.
The farmer has cultivated Sesamum radiatum, which has produced many small flowers. The flowers are full of nectar. A Common Mormon butterfly has come to feed on the nectar of the flower and is flying from one flower to another. It was feeding on the nectar of the flower when I took this photo.
The butterfly first places its feet on the flower and continues to flap its wings, the speed of the flapping of the wings is very fast, which surprises me and makes it difficult to take photos. It is impossible to observe the wings of the butterfly with the naked eye. Only you can understand that a butterfly that is black and is feeding on the nectar of the flower
When the butterfly feeds on the nectar of the flower behind the leaves, its head goes behind the leaves when I took the photo
A flower and a butterfly, see how they are feeding on the nectar. This photo is clearer
The photo was taken in the middle of a Common Mormon butterfly flapping its wings, giving it a different perspective.
This time it is perched on a leaf, feeding on flower nectar, somewhat still.
It takes less than half a second for the butterfly to feed on nectar from a flower. It tried to get out of the photo frame while I was taking the photo. The photo was taken by me in flight
Another beautiful shot, the butterfly's wings attracted me, here in this photo the underside of its wings is visible
Its two wings are very close together, and there is also a beautiful pattern on the tail
The flowers of the Sesamum radiatum plant bloom on different parts of it, so the butterfly enters the depths of the plant to feed on nectar from the flowers. Then I can see it through the gaps in the plants. That's when I took this photo. I got less than a fifth of a second to do this. The magnificent butterfly is the Common Mormon, a butterfly that is so fast is very rare. And it is very hardworking. You can find it in India and its surrounding areas. I have met it because I live where it lives.
