Weather Condition In My Area

So far we all are living beings, climate change is a natural occurrence that everyone must experience, it's a constant variable. Whether we like it or not climate change will happen, it's now left to us to adjust to its occurrence.

My personal experience with climate change has been both good and bad, good in the sense that I love the present season we are in Nigeria which is the rainy season more than the dry season. I really don't like the dry season because of how dusty everything would be and must importantly having heat rashes on the body pisses me off.....person go dey sweat anyhow and go dey scratch body🤣🤣🤣

The heat this year February 2025 was more spiritual than physical🤣, everyone almost ran mad because of how hot the weather was. I believe those that would enjoy the last dry season will be those with constant supply of electricity with AC fitted in their house.

But we that experience abnormal supply of electricity was greatly dealt with by heat, it was just too much. The heat this year dealt with almost everyone depending on how ventilated their apartment is or the gadgets you have to suppress it.

But once it's the rainy season I love it more because of how naturally cold everywhere will be and most times there is always significant improvement in electricity supply in my area during this season if at all no pole was damaged while it rains. But the major thing I dislike during the rainy season is how waterlogged the roads are.

Although I've never lived in a flooded area before, but the roads and market places that aren't tarred are always water logged during the rainy season and this makes outings more difficult during this season if one doesn't have a personal means of transportation.

But above all, I loved rainy seasons more than dry seasons. I know anyone that has experienced flooding before won't agree to this but individuals experiences differ.

Presently, the climate change has been hitting me so hard, the rate at which my area is cold is beyond my comprehension. Rain has been falling almost everyday at close intervals for the past 2 weeks, even if it's sunny at a moment the next thing you will see after a while will be the cloud gathering and within the twinkle of an eye it will start raining.

Since last week, damp weather has been the order of the day in my area, so since the beginning of this week I've been on thick clothing plus Cardigan to work because of the cold. Like today, the weather has been so damp since daybreak and the rain has started falling since 10am.

I'm down presently with catarrh couple with sore throat. It hasn't been easy but with the use of drugs coupled with continuous drinking and bathing with hot water I've been coping, but to say the fact it hasn't been easy at all.

If my area in Ibadan could be this cold, only God knows how people in Jos the capital city of Plateau state will cope.
