Appreciating the jewels of inestimable value in my life

Today being Mother's Day is one of the most special days on earth to appreciate the wonderful women and other amazing people in our lives. I can categorically say Mothers are angels sent by the divine to guide and help shaped their children's lives.

Apart from my Mother, there are other family members and friends that are role figures who have helped and are still helping me till today and I can't but thank my maker for making me know these amazing set of beings.

No doubt, kudos should be given to all women who decide to keep their pregnancy from the moment of conception and successfully go through labour pains, it takes deliberate efforts to do that and I can't help but thank such warriors.

Once a child is born, training starts immediately, so this makes mother's work to be forever. The home is considered as the first learning center of a child, so the teacher there is the Mother. Mothers are the very first teacher of their children, here in Africa there are some ways in which our mothers talk without them altering a word, action speaks louder than voice.

There are a lot of things I learnt from my Mom in which she didn't sit me down to teach me, through her actions I would have known the kind of information she intend to pass across to me.

Mothers are great disciplinarians, they also double as our amazing cheer leaders. Even if everyday is use to celebrate Mothers all over the world, its definitely worth it because the impact of mothers in the society can never be overemphasized

Let us not forget the roles of other people like friends and family members who contributed meaningfully into our lives. Fathers, grandparents, siblings, extended family members and strangers who have become our pals, each of them have played and are still playing vital roles in our respective lives.

I could remember vividly while I was in my final year in school and my parents couldn't afford to pay all levy for my final project, it was my elder sister who went ahead to apply for a loan at work so that I will be able to sort myself. I can never forget this kind gesture of hers, I can proudly say I'm blessed to have her as my second mother because she can go to any length to give me the full support that I needed.

My other siblings also rally round me to give their support whenever I need it most. I can't neglect these wonderful people whom God has blessed me with. So today it's very important for me to appreciate all individuals not only my mother, for their unconditional love towards me.

I don't take this privilege for granted. You all have really contributed immensely to my growth and I can say without doubt that you are all engraved in my heart till eternity.
