Still you add an image link it counts towards space allocated.
It shouldn't be though. Longer posts, yeah sure, but the image count doesn't need to be included.
It is the same with adding a link. Sometimes I struggle on the Silver Bloggers account when I am creating the aotw polls and adding the posts in the comments to vote on. Some of the spanish speakers put both english and spanish in their titles so it is very easy to go over the character count.
Well, to be fair on links, X even includes that into the post length, at least they did. I haven't posted a link there in a while, lol. I try to stay away from other networks if possible, lol.
I haven't posted a link on X in forever and a day, in fact the last time was when I was premium there so that is well over a year ago.
