THE ALLURE OF PHYSICAL BOOKS VS DIGITAL DELIGHT... WHAT'S YOUR READING STYLE?

I don't know but there is this excitement I usually get anytime I flip through the pages of my school books, novels, old time stories as well as My bible...I don't know if it's just me but I will prefer reading the hard copy version of whatever I'm reading to the soft copy.... I will give you reasons from my own point of view.

One of the reasons I enjoy readinq physical books is because of how less stressful it is, I do not have to go through the stress of stressing my eyes out especially for those of us who are already dealing with eye issues... With my physical hard copy book, I can go through my books at anytime, anyday..

Another reason why I prefer physical books to PDF is because it brings about less worries and more comfort... I am a victim of reading PDF which didn't come out well....
I remember when I was in my second year in the university, I felt I had arrived and at such, there was no need of buying my hard copy materials as usual, anything I get money for materials, I will use it to do something else that concerns me.... One day, I had exams on one of my PDF material, I was supposed to read with either my phone or PC.... But nemesis caught up with me that day, I am someone that reads a night to exams with that, my PC and phone went off that day, I was hoping that the will bring light at midnight as usual....

Through out that night there was no light.... Ohhhhhh Jesus!!!!!! Prayers filled my mouth that night... I was stranded and couldn't sleep because it was actually an exams of 8am.....
I entered exams hall shaking and ended up writing things that could be explained by only me but when result came out, I carried my D with pride knowing fully well that I don't deserve the D either....

Believe me, all these would have been avoided if only I had my hard copy materials with me....

With my ink paper book I can avoid any form of distractions... For real. I don't think I will read with my phone and I won't be tempted to do something else with it, a message might pop up while reading and I will lie to myself that after responding to that particular message that I will go off, like that, it continues and I will end up not reading again.... Digital reading brings so much distractions especially for some of us cannot discipline ourselves....

just like it was said... From my own point of view, I prefer reading physical ink papers to PDF or any material on my PC or phone, I don't know but I derive Joy seeing my book, reading it, underlying the parts that interest me or captures my eyes.... Correct myself over and over again with less distractions and full satisfaction...
