Winter Landscapes at Elbow Falls Alberta

The cold will never deter me from getting a good shot. I find snow-covered landscapes can be just as interesting as any. I think being in the mountains near a forest and waterfall probably helps. It's also a bit of a novelty to be out in the mountains when there is snow on the ground, as all my other trips have typically come during the spring, summer, or even fall, when everything is more colorful. However, it is the snow that adds an extra flavor to scenes like these, and even when you have been someplace many times, like I have at Elbow Falls, what's old can seem new again.
