Statues at the Cemetery

They stand the test of time, and even as time weathers them, these statues keep watch over the dead, and their solemn expressions set the tone for those who lie at rest around them. Their features don't change much; they get a little rougher, and the textures start to show, but they are still the same even a decade apart, as I have visited this place many times over the years. I always come back to see that they still are keeping watch and to observe the little subtle shifts as they slowly reveal the sand of time.
