Pink and White Orchid Macro

Orchids have a very interesting and distinct structure. They are one of a handful of flowers that I find that I can immediately identify, and I am sure many people can as well. They have a mouth-like center; this one looks quite intricate and delicate. They also seemingly come in all types of colors. I often wonder how nature brings these colors to bear in flowers like this, but at the same time I like the mystery of not knowing and being able to look upon them with a sense of wonderment.
