Mystery Bird

These little birds were meandering about the tree on my front lawn. At first I was hearing something a little unfamiliar and then seeing some movement. I waited and waited, and eventually a few of them were revealed. I am not sure what species this is; I think perhaps they are some kind of nuthatch. Maybe someone can help identify them. I like when I spot birds in this tree that usually don't reside here regularly; there is always a mystery or even a surprise that awaits.
