Monomad: Jackrabbit Close Ups

This jackrabbit was just relaxing, enjoying some shade on a hot day. A few feet outside my patio window, in perfect range for me to get really close up. I tried to vary my angle a bit, but as I noticed the rabbit started to stir, I thought it would be best to not move and let him relax. For a couple of years I didn't really see many around, as there was a virus that hurt the local populations, but this year they have really bounced back.
