Monomad: Horseshoe Canyon Alberta Badlands

I have looked into this canyon a few times in my life. The first couple were school trips on the way to go to the Royal Tyrell Museum of Paleontology. It's really the first bit of badlands you encounter if you're coming from the western part of Alberta. I was immediately fascinated by what I saw, like a window into the past. The next time I came, I was more prepared to take it all in, camera in hand, ready to record the experience. I could stare at these hills for hours, taking in every detail. When I see people down below, I imagine being down alongside the hills and walking the trails. I think my next trip will be from that perspective, from the bottom of the canyon looking up, still in awe of what I am seeing.

Made it out that way in the summer. The weather was somewhat uncooperative...
