Monomad: Deer Encounter at the Graveyard

An unexpected yet welcome visitor on my graveyard photography tour, a deer. I was a touch startled at first as I usually find much smaller forms of wildlife when I visit this place. Being at a bit of a distance at least I didn't scare it off as the deer took a moment to notice me before carrying on with its grazing. This cemetery isn't to far off the elbow river which likely provides a bit of a nature passage way for a deer like this passing through the area. Calgary is fairly intermingled with green spaces so the wildlife habitats stretch from the outskirts right into the city center.
