Monomad: Cougar at the Calgary Zoo

The eastern cougar is primarily found in Ontario, Quebec, and the maritime provinces in Canada. They were once found all over North America and can still be found in Western Canada, but it is unknown how many there are in the west. They typically need large forest areas with no human activity to survive and thrive in the wild. They will usually hunt at night and are known to be excellent swimmers and climbers.
