Monomad: Autumn Leaves Macro Photography
Even without color, the patterns on autumn leaves seem to be just as interesting. The uniform single color of a green leaf just doesn't quite have the extra texture and unique patterns that you find once the colors start to turn. The little spots and veins become more noticeable, and the wrinkles and creases start to form, adding features that do more to capture the eye. So even in its absence, I have to thank autumn colors for making these black and white images more appealing.
