Lego Minifigure Macro

Lego minifigures have become a popular subject for photography and animation over the years. I think it's something about the surrealism of how they look, like little humans but not a serious reproduction, more like a simpler version of us.

I also enjoy shooting with them using different lighting setups and tricks as the scenes come, as they seem quite cinematic. I also like having a bit more control to be able to get the type of looks that I want, although working within the restrictions of what a minifigure can do.

These Star Wars Anakin Skywalker and Cara Dune minifigures also have interesting facial expressions, but since they can't be changed, I rely on light to be able to shape things how I want.
