Fireworks at Globalfest
Capturing fireworks photos can be as easy or as hard as you want it to be. It depends on a few factors, like the type of camera you have, whether you are going to shoot in manual or automatic modes, and your understanding of photography and light. I used to find this a little intimidating until I tried a few times, and as someone who shoots with entirely manual settings, I enjoy tweaking things as I go. What I really learned, though, is that if you have it all set right, then it's all about letting the camera do the work. For a longer fireworks presentation like this one, which runs around 15 minutes, there is plenty of room for trial and error, but it's also good to get set ahead of time so that you are both ready and also can sit back a bit and enjoy the show.

This photo stole my heart. Seriously!
