Downtown Calgary at Sunset

Sunsets always bring the colors that many of us love to see. Another important element to this, at least in terms of how photogenic things might be around sunset, is having some clouds around. They create texture, they add more color, and they create a gradation from darker to light colors that shift as the sun lowers closer to the horizon. The colorful skies also make everything around them look more interesting; buildings have a different look, and reflections add some flair and character to these otherwise inanimate structures.
