Cedar Waxwings High Up In A Tree

On the rare few occasions that I have encountered Cedar Waxwings, they are always in a group. They are social birds that like to hang together; they are non-territorial and will often groom each other. In Canada they are only spotted in the southern parts, so Calgary must be just enough south for them. Usually they will breed in wooded areas in Canada, which is perhaps another reason why I always see them in flocks.
